Marko Purić is a graduate in Financial Management who built his academic and athletic career in the United States and Canada, successfully combining high-level collegiate sports with studies in finance and accounting.

He began his studies at North Carolina State University, where he competed for two years as a student-athlete in NCAA Division I. He later continued his education at the University of Ottawa, where he spent two additional years competing in the NAIA league while completing his undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance. During his studies, Marko developed a strong foundation in financial analysis and strategic decision-making, which helped him cultivate a disciplined and analytical approach to both academic and athletic responsibilities. He continues to apply this approach in his professional career and in his mentorship of young tennis players.
After concluding his collegiate athletic career, and prior to entering the financial sector, Marko worked as a tennis coach at the prestigious IMG Academy in the United States. Over the course of more than two years, he designed individualized competitive programs for elite players, whose achievements included over thirty national and international tournament titles. By implementing advanced performance analysis methods and personalized development plans, he supported more than three hundred athletes in reaching their goals, while also strengthening team cohesion and maintaining effective communication with parents and sponsors.

Today, Marko leads investment projects at the leading U.S.-based consulting firm Guidepoint. In parallel with his professional career, he actively mentors young tennis talents, demonstrating how athletic discipline, academic excellence, and strategic leadership can open the path to professional success in the United States.
